"It is a press certainly, but a press from which shall flow in inexhaustible streams. Through it, God will spread His Word.
A spring of truth shall flow from it: like a new star it shall scatter the darkness of ignorance, and cause a light heretofore unknown to shine amongst men." - Johannes Gutnenberg
Johannes Gutenberg and his printing press revolutionized the world forever. From his press, religion, thought, philosophies, intelligence, and ideas became available to the masses. Key events like the Reformation, The Age Of Enlightenment, the American Revolution, and more, are the direct result of Gutenberg. Another Key event in American History happened in
E.B. Grandin's print shop in upstate New York, the printing of the Book of Mormon.
The Crandall Historical Printing Museum takes visitors from the very start of the printing revolution in 1450, through 1830 to when the Book of Mormon was printed. Covering over half a millennium of history, the Crandall Historical Printing Museum, located in Provo, Utah, the most complete printing museum in the world.
